Penelitian ini berfokus pada implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat baca dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SDIT Atikah Musaddad Al-Wasilah Garut. Program literasi sekolah merupakan kebijakan yang berlandaskan Permendikbud No. 23 Tahun 2015 dengan tujuan menumbuhkan budaya membaca dan menulis di kalangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahapan analisis data meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa warga sekolah memahami gerakan literasi sebagai upaya pengembangan budaya literasi yang telah mencapai tahap pembelajaran, di mana kegiatan literasi telah terintegrasi dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi penciptaan lingkungan ramah literasi, kegiatan membaca 15 menit, kewajiban meminjam buku, pemberian motivasi, serta penyelenggaraan lomba literasi. Implementasi strategi ini diwujudkan dalam program rutin seperti pembiasaan mengaji pagi, tahfidzul qur’an, one book one week, readhaton, majalah dinding, serta pemanfaatan literasi digital. Faktor pendukungnya adalah lingkungan ramah literasi dan partisipasi aktif warga sekolah, sementara hambatannya berupa keterbatasan sarana, rendahnya budaya literasi guru, dan kesulitan mengondisikan siswa. Solusi yang ditawarkan antara lain penambahan sarana prasarana, pelatihan guru, serta pemberian penghargaan dan sanksi bagi siswa.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of the school literacy movement in improving reading interest and learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDIT Atikah Musaddad Al-Wasilah Garut. The school literacy movement is a program mandated by the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2015, aimed at fostering a reading and writing culture among students. This research employed a qualitative approach with data analysis stages including reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings indicate that the school community perceives literacy programs as an effort to cultivate a literacy culture, which has now developed into the learning stage. Strategies applied include creating a literacy-friendly environment, conducting a 15-minute daily reading activity, requiring book borrowing, providing motivation, and organizing literacy competitions. These strategies are implemented through various programs such as morning Qur’an recitation, tahfidzul qur’an, one book one week, readhaton, school wall magazine, and the use of digital literacy. Supporting factors include a literacy-conducive environment and active participation of the school community, while inhibiting factors involve limited facilities, low literacy culture among teachers, and challenges in managing active students. The proposed solutions are improving literacy facilities, providing teacher training, and implementing reward and punishment systems for students in literacy activities.
